Zine workshop â€” Thursday evening

This workshop will be end product based, with the goal being to have each participant create their own miniature personal zine. Zines are independent magazines and are used as a means of communicatoin, story telling, exploration of radical thought and so on. // Whether you are an old hat at zine making or you have not yet held one in your hands, come on out and we'll share what we've got. // â€˜The personal is politicalâ€™ is a phrase that was used in the early feminist movement to empower women to see their stories, opinions and lives as valuable. Loosely, we will explore this topic through story telling, unifying through available means and proving that the need to reaffirm concepts of value as a woman are still applicable today.
